It all started...

In Egypt 2009 when I descended into the beautiful Red Sea for my first ever dive. I was hooked from the first moment, the feeling of weightlessness, the marine life, the coral reef, I was home. I went on to complete my Open Water that summer in Florida and every vacation that followed was a dive trip.

In July 2014 I made the move from sitting behind a desk in Denmark to Gili Trawangan where I have stayed since. I became an SSI Open Water Instructor by October 2014. In 2015 I completed my Sidemount, Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, JJ CCR Air Diluent Diver, Extended Range and JJ CCR Trimix courses. I was amazed by the possibilities that Technical Diving was giving me. Exploring deep reefs on every day off I had. Organizing boats to find new reefs and having a blast with the other tech divers on the Island. In 2016 I completed my JJ CCR Advanced Trimix taking me to 100m and within a few months had completed 5 dives to that depth. The visibility down there seems endless, the water feels thicker and the 65m of wall above me was one of the most beautiful things I had seen. I decided to become a tech instructor and completed my course that summer.

In the fall of 2016 I completed my Expedition Trimix training and achieved a depth of 130m in November. Longing for more adventure I traveled back to Florida, where it all started, in May 2017 to complete my Full Cave (Open Circuit and Closed Circuit). That spring my good friend Sam and I had made several pushes on the deep walls around the Gili's finding new drop points and that's where we are today. The fall of 2017 will be full of new adventures which I will post on the exploration page here for those interested.
